Delta Pulse 2 LCD circuit

Hi Everybody,

I've bought a LCD discrimination circuit and I can't manage to put it in working order.... Whe I turn on the unit only the green led turns on, I've checked both and both are woring.... I don't know how to adjust the LCD for discrimination...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi again, I've managed to put both leds in working order. The problem was the red led was in incorrect position, no both leds lights. No w the problem is I don't know how to adjust the discrimination function, I've seen that the discrimination circuit have 2 potentiometers, as far as i know the one on the right is used to adjust the battery voltage level, and the one on the left is used to adjust the discrimination but i have not idea where to start from. Could somebody tell me how to adjust the discrimination? I've seen a video at youtube and when a ferrous object is closed to the coil the red led goes on and if the metal is non ferrous, ie: copper, the red and the green led go on. When the signal (or the object) is so closed to the coil both leds blink.

Sorry for my language but I don0t speak turkish and the google translation is not good, I've two work friends ftom Turkey but they're on holiday now

Any help would be appreciated, I'm planning to go out this weekend but i need to have the unit in working order.

Hi,

Do you want to know how to you can calibrate a discrimination unit? If it is true, you have to do according to following list.
1-)You have to put the your coil to right place.(on the ground wihtout metal and mineral)
2-)You have to adjust your detector for the best performance
3-)You should turn on the clockwise fully to TR1 and you shoul push button of discrimination circuit.
4-)You should turn on counter-clockwise slowly to TR1 until you see FULL command on the LCD screen and you should push button of discrimination circuit. And you should try to use for discrimination.
5-) If discrimination of your circuit can not work, you should turn on a little bit counter-clockwise slowly and you should push button of discrimination circuit. And you should try to use for discrimination. If discrimination of your circuit don't work, you should repeat the fifth item.
