Hi to All, I'm new member and this is my first post, I built Delta Pulse 2S with coils 19 cm, enameled copper wire of 0.4 mm (I just have one role of it) with 31 tourna. So, my questions are: 1. How can I make my DPA 2 metal detector sensitive to IRON with small pieces? 2. What is the best frequency to detect small targets with iron? 3. What parts of the PCB must be changed to be able for detecting even small iron pieces? 4- any advice for coil? and what is the best dimensions of coil? I'm looking for you answers and advices, Thanks

Firstly welcome to TeknolojiEkibi. For your first question, you have to make up working frequency of your circuit. For second, you can make 1-2khz for small pieces but design of this circuit is not suit for working li,ke this high frequency. For thirt, This menas a mew design :)

I want to explain more about what I want to do, I'm trying to make my DP 2S sensitive to iron pieces like 4 inch (10.16 cm) iron nail not more, with good depth. I'm NOT looking for so small iron pieces like 3 mm piece.

hmmm.

You don't need to change anything in circuit. If you can make a good working circuit, it can sense big irons from more depth.

and what frequency I choose by adjusting the PR1 ?

Delta pulse  and  delta  pulse S2 is  different  detectors.Yours is delta pulse .

Friends, Can you tell me about the coil ? I wanna use coil with diameter like 42 cm or 40 cm or less. what is best diameter ? and number of turns ? and which wire I use ?

I  think  it  has to  be   about  500uh  coil  inductance .Delta  pulse 2  is  more  sensitive  on  İron   nothing  needed  to  change.

you  can  try  1  meter  coil  too.
